Museum Works Galleries
Merchandise Mart
On January 27, the city's best-dressed list braved frigid temps to attend the grand opening of Museum Works Galleries (MWG) at the Merchandise Mart. Hosted by Jordan Goodman and Robert Casterline of MWG and produced by Platinum Events, guests sipped and nibbled their way through the galleries' sumptuous 10,000 sq.ft. space filled with one-of-a-kind works and designs by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Marcus Jansen, Mark Acetelli, Danielle Procaccio, Jordan Goodman and others.
The event's Honorary Hosts included D.C. Crenshaw, George Daniels, James Feeley, Ryan Preuett, James Rhine, Marcus Riley, and Jessica Zweig. Proceeds benefited the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation.
Social Media extraordinaire Jen Knoedl, on assignment for Ragan Communications, dropped in to ask art-loving party-goers how they thought Facebook was like an art form. Game Time Dine's D.C. Crenshaw, Le Colonial's Kerry Bowler, Platinum Events' Justin & Steven Jacobson, Chris Norman and Kerry & Sally Shorr of Luxe File Chicago weighed in with their answers.
