After nearly eighteen months of preparation, and just in time for the holiday gift-giving season, Powered by Action is hosting its first fundraiser and launch party at G.R. N'Namdi. The new non-profit, powered and promoted by an elite team of dedicated Chicago business leaders and philanthropists whose time and services are provided pro bono, offers a personal and customized approach to the art of do-gooding. Whether it's donating time, monies or resources, donors form an intimate and impenetrable bond with the distressed and developing communities they help to become economically sustainable and sufficient.

The event will feature passed cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and the opportunity to meet and mingle with some of the organization's executive team including Powered by Action's founder and Chief Executive Officer, Andre Hughes.
